This shimmering Christmas tree--a Hammacher Schlemmer catalog exclusive--is a recreation of the "futuristic" aluminum trees of the 1950s. The easy-to-assemble tree is durably made with a hardwood trunk and non-corrosive high-quality aluminum foil branches that will long outlast the brittle tinsel of lesser trees. Branches are all of equal length and interchangeable, making assembly incredibly simple. Once erected, the branches are strong enough to support even the heaviest ornaments. A color light wheel (sold separately below) can be set up at the foot of the tree, illuminating it with a spectrum of colored lights that reflect from every aluminum needle.
